As an AmeriCorps Academic Tutor at ReDefiners World Languages, your role is to provide 1:1 academic tutoring with a focus on Literacy Development for Kindergarten - 5th grade students. You'll plan, execute dynamic tutoring sessions, record progress reports, and collaborate with caregivers to ensure student success.
ReDefiners World Languages is a pioneering nonprofit organization focused on developing global citizens through language and cultural enrichment. They offer language learning opportunities in Arabic, English, Spanish, and Mandarin for adults and children, emphasizing socioeconomic inclusivity and community impact.
The enrollment term is ongoing, and the work schedule falls Monday-Friday between 7:40 am and 6:00 pm, with Saturdays from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm. Tutors can work at various locations in Tampa and Clearwater, FL, including schools and community centers.
